Waterlily, Waterlillies

The Waterlily has around 70 different varieties and are native to the Northern Hemisphere. There are two types of Waterlilies which are Tropical and Hardy. The hardy lilies bloom during the day only, while the Tropical lilies bloom during both the daytime and the nighttime. Some of the waterlilies can be highly fragrant. However, some species of this type of lily, such as the Mexican version, have become somewhat of an invasive flower because of being planted throughout certain areas of the world. This can be resolved by cutting top growth along with the usage of herbacides.
