Sunflower

The Sunflower is a common edible flower that is found in both of the continents of North and South America. This flower comes in a wide variety of different colors that include but are not limited to yellow, orange and maroon. The seeds are very popular both to consume and to use in a wide variety of different uses. Some of these uses include but are not limited to bath, perfume, candles, essential oils, culinary and even medicinal. Even though the domesticated flower turns its head towards the sun, the wild flower does not. Some experiments are being done to produce a latex that can be used for producing a hypoallergenic rubber for those who are allergic to latex. One more interesting fact about this flower is that they can be used to remove toxic ingredients from the soil.
