Snowdrop

The Snowdrop has around 20 different varieties and is at its peak of blossoming in the cold harsh winter, right before the Spring Equinox. This flower is native to the countries of France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Turkey, and Greece. In the country of Britain this flower is considered to be a natural wildflower. This is a threatened species of flower, with many countries enacting laws making it illegal to pick the flowers in the wild. Even though this flower is endangered, there are many festivals celebrating the flower. In Ireland and other parts of the United Kingdom, there are several gardens open to the public with this flower in them. This flower is the Official January Birth Flower
