Peach Blossom

The Peach Blossom as we all should know is a tree that bears the Peach Fruit. This flower's Fruit has also served as a favorite fruit of the Ancient Kings and Emperors. This flowering tree was brought to America by Spanish Explorers, where it remains popular as both a tree and a fruit bearing plant to this day. One of the problems with growing peaches is they tend to flower before the spring frost. This wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing except for this type of flower is sensitive to frosts. This type of flowering tree grows best in the full sun, so keep that in mind when considering tree placement. Another thing that is needed for this type of flower is a steady supply of water, so think Irrigation! This flower is also the official Delaware State Flower.
