Lily, Lilies

The Lily is a very common and popular flower and come in around 110 different varieties and are native to the continents and countries of Europe, India, the Philippines, and North America. This flower is very adaptable, growing in both woodland and grassland habitats. However soil wise they can be somewhat picky, preferring moderately acidic and lime free soils. Lilies come in a large variety of different colors that include but are not limited to white, yellow, orange, pink, purple and red. In addition to this they are a highly fragrant flower, thus making them popular in the perfume, candle, and bath accessory industries just to name a few.
