Lesser Celandine

The Lesser Celandine, despite its name, is no where near related to the Greater Celandine flower. This flower comes in both diploid and tetraploid flowers. This flower is native to the continents of Europe and Asia with specific concentrations in Western Asia. In Europe, North America, and Canada, however, this flower is considered as no more than a mere weed. This flower blooms from February till May, thus giving it the nickname of "spring messenger".
