The Iris flower has around 300 different varieties and is native to the contents of Africa, Europe, North America, the Middle East, & Asia. This flower is considered to be a perennial flower, and is greatly loved by both people and pollinating insects alike. The reason pollinating insects like this flower so much is because of the petals, which act as landing strips making the flower easier to get to. It is interesting to know that this flower is named after the Messenger of Love, also the reason in which this flower also is symbolic of eloquence.
