Hawthorn

The Hawthorn is is native to the continents of Europe, Asia and Africa, and is a hermaphrodite type of flower, which means it is capable of self pollination. The fruit of this flower is edible and is used in making jams, jellies, syrups, and tons of other delicacies. The oldest tree known to date is over 700 years old and currently resides in Norfolk. Another interesting fact to know is that this flower is the Missouri State Flower.
