Golden Wattle

The Golden Wattle is native to the continent of Australia and is found in specifically the eucalypt forests where it likes to grow in dry shallow soils. The other continents this flower is native to are Southern Africa and North America--with California being the only state in North America that houses the flower. This flower has been used for everything from perfume making to Australia's Floral Emblem to even being used in the tanning industry! This flower grows on a tree that blooms in late winter and spring, giving off a fresh look of beautiful fragrant yellow flowers. This flower can tolerate the frost and cold to a certain degree.
