Geranium

The Geranium flower comes in around 422 different varieties, and has annual, biennial, and even perennial plants. This flower is native to the tropic regions, in particular the Mediterranean. When growing this flower, it is important to know that this plant will grow so long as the soil is not waterlogged. The colors of this flower come in pink, blue and white, and are used as a food plant by a variety of different insect species. This flower is popular as both landscape decoration, and surprisingly enough, for medicinal uses as well. These flowers are one of the rare flowers that will do well in the harsh winter climates, and are well known for being extremely long lived.
