The Crocus is a perennial flower and is native to central and southern Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and across central Asia as well as to Western China. This flower loves to grow in a wide variety of different climates including woodlands, meadows, and scrubs. The colors of this flower include mauve, yellow, and white. An interesting fact to know about this flower is that the saffron spice is obtained from one of the many different varieties of this species.
