Chestnut Oak

The Chestnut Oak is native to the Eastern US and it ranges from Maine to Mississippi and slightly populating Southern Michigan. Other names that it is known as is the Rock Oak because of the rocky environments that it likes to grow in, and by the name Quercus Prinus. When the tree reaches about 10 years of age, it should stand around 16 feet tall. You wouldn’t think that being that this is a tree, that it could ever be a flower. However, this tree does have beautiful flowers as well as highly exotic looking leaves.
