Azalea
Even though the Azalea was thought for a long time to be a separate kind of flower, they have now been merged with the Rhododendron. Rhododendrons grow in stripes, whereas these flowers grow as one flower per stem. Having a whole lot of stems makes it for a fantastic pleasing to the eye experience of different colors the whole season they are in bloom. The spectacular show is during the spring, and many cities host springtime festivals using the flowers of this beautiful plant.
